Why Uptime and Away
What this site is for, who it is for, and the four threads I plan to pull on: AI in operations, SRE, platform engineering and service management.
Uptime and Away
Reliability, platforms and AI by day. Roads, mountains and a camera the rest of the time.
Notes from building and running platforms, making AI useful in operations, and the service management glue that holds it together. Then, when the pager is quiet, trips and photographs.

A placeholder trip to get the section started
A stand-in travel post that shows how write-ups, location metadata and galleries fit together. Replace it with a real trip.
